1 - December 1, 2022 @ 11:37 AM

Put in a bike trail from S. 2nd to Fort Hall Mine Road to provide bikes with a safer way to travel north-south (including going to Century HS) in this area.

2 - December 1, 2022 @ 11:36 AM

Add lighting and landscaping along 1st Ave to connect ISU to Old Town through the Warehouse District

3 - December 1, 2022 @ 11:29 AM

Add in a pedestrian overpass here at Terry connecting ISU to the Portneuf River and Centennial Park/City Creek

4 - December 1, 2022 @ 11:28 AM

Need better sidewalks, ADA ramps and lighting along Center and Clark. This is a major intersection to our community and should be designed to have that feel.

5 - December 1, 2022 @ 11:24 AM

Make this a full stop (no merging to head north). Traffic goes to fast on North Main coming off Benton Street

6 - December 1, 2022 @ 11:23 AM

Wider sidewalks/full bike lane needed on Benton to better connect ISU to Centennial Park/City Creek and to downtown.

7 - November 28, 2022 @ 5:21 AM

Needs sidewalks, needs a left turn lane into Connor, people are always passing on the right on the shoulder going south and can see the kids crossing unti the last minute and kids can't see the cars because they're illegally passing. Also should have a right turn lane coming from the south

8 - November 23, 2022 @ 9:22 AM

This section of Siphon has no sidewalks, but both school bus stops and transit bus stops. With increased traffic on Siphon, it is dangerous to have kids walking down the road twice a day with no sidewalk.

9 - November 22, 2022 @ 9:16 AM

This area is needs markings for lane traffic. There is no turn lane and it's confusing to motorists on what to do here. The area needs markings for a left turn only and markings for the other two lanes that proceed straight.

10 - November 22, 2022 @ 9:09 AM

There needs to be a controlled U-turn built here. I have seen them in Utah and they work very well. With the new truck stop, people are making dangerous U-turns with little regard to oncoming traffic, so they can return to the interstate.

11 - November 22, 2022 @ 9:06 AM

This lighted intersection needs a dedicated turning light coming from Walmart and the Mall. Waiting to yield is causing congestion and multiple accidents. This is the only intersection in town that doesn't have one. The intersection has a high amount of traffic to allow for yields.

13 - November 22, 2022 @ 9:01 AM

This exit is for New Day not Northgate. The signs are not accurate in indicating what street you are exiting on. The street name is New Day, It's misleading motorists.

14 - November 22, 2022 @ 8:58 AM

Increase the visibility of the yield signs. People miss that it is them whom have to yield. Maybe paint the road more than just having signs.

15 - November 22, 2022 @ 8:52 AM

Mark out the area that motorists are to leave open for the fire department. The signs are not enough to keep people from stopping there. Paint the area with diagonal red lines to show the area to not stop in.

16 - November 22, 2022 @ 8:48 AM

17 - November 22, 2022 @ 8:46 AM

This area needs better markings on where people are to stop. All too often people drive past the spot in which they are to stop.

18 - November 7, 2022 @ 1:06 PM

This is an area that is difficult for someone to navigate on foot, or by bike. Infrastructure to accommodate both is lacking

19 - November 7, 2022 @ 12:58 PM

There should be some type of infrastructure throughout this corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.

20 - November 7, 2022 @ 12:51 PM

Carter in this area has no posted speed limit. The line of sight when crossing is limited and can be hazardous. Evaluation should be made regarding some allowed parking as well as yellow curb not redone following the addition of the sidewalk along Cartwr

21 - November 7, 2022 @ 12:46 PM

Left hand turn in this area is challenging at best with the additional traffic from Maverick and century HS. Often use a different exit that ads miles to avoid the congestion.

22 - November 2, 2022 @ 7:48 AM

Traffic is being detoured down Mountlake for next two years for I-15 I-86 rebuild. Unfortunately a lot of cars are exceeding speed limit Doing 45mph or more. Police and IDOT are refusing to help find a solution. I have also observed Large semis, construction equipment using this residential street. Signage is poor and confusing.

23 - November 1, 2022 @ 3:04 PM

It would be nice to have a U-Turn on green here in order to avoid going through the Wal-Mart/McDonald's parking lot to head east on Bullock St. In larger cities, some U-Turns are allowed (when posted) with more than 2 lanes.

24 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:47 PM

I love the pedestrian friendly design of the parkway. No idea how bikes and people would GET there from the surrounding dangerous roads, so maybe take a look at improving connections to this parkway.

25 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:44 PM

The bus stop here needs major improvements. It's a main stop for switching buses and there's not even a bench for pity's sake. Always people there, forced to sit on the grass as they wait for a bus.

26 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:42 PM

When this park next to PCCS was improved, we put down roadbed gravel along the edge so that a sidewalk or walkway could be put in place there--since there are no sidewalks on this corner. Can we please get some pavement or concrete poured to finish this? All the prep work has been done.

27 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:40 PM

It is next to impossible for a pedestrian to walk from one of the old town neighborhoods to Albertson's safely. There isn't a way across at the north corner of Benton and Main, so they'd have to cross to the south side, then cross back on the east side of the tracks.

28 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:36 PM

Lots of kids in these neighborhoods walk to school, and have to walk in the streets because there are not consistent sidewalks.

29 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:35 PM

These are some of the safest residential streets in town because they are so narrow that cars HAVE to slow down.

30 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:33 PM

Make this one lane with diagonal parking to SLOW traffic down. Add bumpouts and corner planters. Protect the people and not the cars.

31 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:31 PM

This would be a lovely place to ride bikes--flat, scenic, within town--if the traffic was slowed down and the road re-imagined to be bike friendly. It's not, so it's deadly and nobody bikes it. Shame.

32 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:29 PM

Go ahead and try to figure out how to walk or bike safely from the public library to, say, Caldwell park using the underpass. It's confusing and dangerous.

33 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:28 PM

Areas with high pedestrian traffice, such as downtown Poky, should give priority to pedestrian safety rather than car safety or speed of travel.

34 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:25 PM

Hundreds of students cross these one way streets every day, and there are almost no protections for them. Add curb bumpouts, raised crossings, or pedestrian refuges. Flashing signals would help too.

35 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:21 PM

Add pedestrian improvements to make this area safer for pedestrians.

36 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:20 PM

Re-stripe Pocatello Creek road to add a bike lane. It was built wide enough to accomodate bikes, but then painted without bike lanes. This is an easy fix.

37 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:18 PM

Two people in the last couple years have been run down on Yellowstone. There is an absurd lack of any consideration for people who might want to walk across yellowstone. The traffic on Yellowstone is similar to that on a freeway, and is completely unsafe. Provide more crosswalks! Add curb bumpouts! Protect pedestrians!

38 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:15 PM

We should be doing all we can to SLOW traffic downtown. How many people have to be run down before we realize the problem and SOLVE it. You could either get rid of the one way streets or put in diagonal parking so that there is only one lane through downtown. A big reason people don't shop downtown is because it is dangerous for pedestirans. Go look at what Twin Falls did to their downtown.

39 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:01 PM

This needs to stay 2 lanes and not bottleneck down.

40 - November 1, 2022 @ 2:00 PM

Widen this so we have a dedicated turn lane onto N. 19th.

41 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:56 PM

This really needs to be five lanes to Tyhee Rd., but I know it costs money. However, five lanes to Siphon Rd./New Day Pkwy. is a must.

42 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:53 PM

Please add "Northgate Pkwy" to overhead sign so people know they can still get to Pocatello/Chubbuck on the north side. The existing "Northgate Parkway" sign doesn't get seen until AFTER you turn north.

43 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:51 PM

Totally agree with adding 2nd right turn lane.

44 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:50 PM

Need to include this exit as part of Pocatello exits.

45 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:49 PM

Need to update "Next 3 Exits" sign to 4.

46 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:48 PM

Need a sign that states, "Thru Traffic Keep Left"

47 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:47 PM

The dumbest idea for a turn lane I've ever seen. This is just an accident waiting to happen. Someone will end up in the canal. Nobody will see the lines when the snow flies!

48 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:45 PM

Needs a traffic light!

49 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:34 PM

Needs a turning lane

50 - November 1, 2022 @ 1:33 PM

Needs no parking sign, cars block view trying to pull out. Needs weeds trimmed.
